Ten Reasons Not To Smoke In Omaha

Outside of the various health risks that cigarettes pose to your health, the fact that they shorten your life, and the fact that they are one of the worst habits to start and try to quit, smoking cigarettes in Omaha is also going to be an extremely expensive addiction to pick up. The cost of cigarettes is already high enough, but recently the city has placed a ban on smoking in public places, which in turn is going to cost smokers even more money, if they are caught lighting up a cigarette in a city park, sidewalk, or any other public location where smoking has been banned.

The legislation just recently came down, and city officials claim it is not so much the health reasons, and the scent which no smokers were complaining of, but the dirt and filth which the cigarette smokers in the city were leaving behind, that made officials pass the ban. The fact that smokers were throwing cigarette butts in city streets, sidewalks, local parks, and every other public location they smoked, rather than using the smoke posts to put out their cigarettes, was one of the leading factors leading to the legislation on the ban being passed. So, rather than have dirty streets, and the second hand smoke being inhaled by non smokers in public places, the city has placed this ban, and will give a ticket, as well as a fine to anyone found smoking in public.

This will not only lead to cleaner streets, but it will also make for a much healthier environment for non smokers in the city. So, if you are used to being able to smoke freely out in the public streets in Omaha, you are soon going to be paying a price for it, if you get caught.
